Chagrin River Outfitters was founded in 2006 by Dan Pribanic in historic downtown Chagrin Falls. Since the doors opened, Dan has compiled a solid staff consisting of top-notch, personable individuals with many years of experience in the fly fishing industry. Our staff has guided, fished, or visited some of the most popular fly fishing destinations around the globe – and thus can be a great resource to anglers, no matter what their target or destination.

Due to the shop’s close proximity to the Chagrin River and the instructional space nearby, we are able to conduct clinics, casting instruction, and many other events at the store. We frequently host fly tying classes during steelhead season and entertain speakers and presenters covering a wide range of fly fishing related topics.

Our shop is centrally located amidst northeast Ohio’s premier steelhead streams. Our guides and staff are out fishing every day, and thus we are always able to provide an up-to-date fishing report to point anglers in the right direction for good fishing.

As a “full service” fly shop we carry a diverse selection of industry brands including Simms, Scott, Orvis, Lamson, Sage, Redington, Beulah, Rio, Winston, Ross, Bauer, Fishpond, Pacific Fly, and many others. Our shop also boasts a large fly tying section, with materials from Hareline, Rumpf, Wapsi, Daiichi, Regal, Renzetti, Spirit River, Cascade Crest, Eumer, HMH, and many other companies available for purchase.
