Nymphing Setup for Trout

This is our recommended indicator nymphing setup for trout fishing. 

Checklist:

• Leader: 9’ 4x or 5x fluorocarbon leader

• Nymphs: (Pheasant tail, Black stoneflies, Hare’s Ear, Prince Nymph, Caddis Nymph, Midges, etc.)

• Split shot or tungsten putty

• Strike indicators (small)

• Tippet rings (small)

• Tippet: 4x and 5x fluorocarbon spools
