Intro to Fly-Fishing School at Pine Lake Trout Club
A full-day introduction to fly fishing at Pine Lake Trout Club in Chagrin Falls, OH — classroom instruction combined with hands-on practice covering equipment basics, knots and leaders, rigging, fly casting, entomology and fly selection, capped off with the opportunity to catch your first fish on a fly.
Description
Spend a day learning the basics of fly fishing. These schools are a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on practice capped off with the opportunity to catch and land your first fish on a fly. This is a great way to “get your feet wet” in the sport of fly fishing without having to make a huge investment in gear.
Who should attend:
Great class for the new fly angler or someone looking to brush up on skills to get back on the water.
Sessions: Private sessions available for individuals or groups.
Cost: Individual $300, groups of 4 or more $150 per person.
Date: Please call the shop at +1 440 247 7110 to setup date/time. We will start the morning at 8am and finish up around 2pm.
Location: Pine Lake Trout Club, Chagrin Falls, OH
Plan to arrive at the location (map and details provided) at 8:00 a.m. Topics covered will be basic equipment, knots and leaders, rigging, basic fishing technique, basic fly casting, basic entomology and fly selection and of course the fishing! You should plan on the day to last until around 2:00 p.m.
