Fly Fishing 201 Classes

Full day of fishing and instruction at Sunny Brook trout club in Sandusky Ohio.  Limited to 6 students per class.  Please bring lunch/drinks as needed.  We will start the morning at 9am and finish up around 4pm.

Spend the day improving your fly-fishing skills with Chagrin River Outfitters at Sunny Brook Trout Club in Sandusky, Ohio.  7 hours on the water training, instruction, and fishing on a beautiful stream filled with rainbow, brown, and brook trout.  This is a great opportunity to improve your fly-fishing skill set in an ideal setting.  Classes and space are limited, sign up now to reserve your spot.  

Recommended Gear:

  • 9ft 5wt fly rod is perfect for the day.  No waders necessary.

  • Leaders/tippet:  9ft 4x and 5x leader 4x, 5x, and 6x monofilament and fluorocarbon leaders

  • Flies:   An assortment of nymphs sizes 14-20, dry flies size 10-20, and streamers size 4-8 will get you through the day.  Guides will have flies as well.
