Fly Fishing 201 Classes at Sunnybrook

Full day of fishing and instruction at Sunnybrook trout club in Sandusky, Ohio 

Who should attend: Ideal for intermediate fly fishers looking to refine their technique and expand their skillset. Whether you're seeking to master new casting methods, improve your presentation, or gain confidence on moving water, this class welcomes anglers who have completed 101 classes and are ready to take their fishing to the next level. Perfect for those wanting personalized guidance in a small-group setting with experienced instructors.

Who are the instructors:  They are all professional fly-fishing guides who are very comfortable working with students.

We will start the morning at 9am and finish up around 4pm.

Spend the day improving your fly-fishing skills with Chagrin River Outfitters at Sunnybrook Trout Club in Sandusky, Ohio.  Seven (7) hours on the water training, instruction, and fishing on a beautiful stream filled with rainbow, brown, and brook trout.  This is a great opportunity to improve your fly-fishing skill set in an ideal setting.  Classes and space are limited, sign up now to reserve your spot. Limited to 6 students per class.  Please bring lunch/drinks as needed. All anglers age 16 and older are required to have a valid Ohio fishing license.

Recommended Gear:

• Rod: 9ft 5wt fly rod is perfect for the day (Orvis Recon Trout and Clearwater Trout Outfits, or Echo Traverse Outfits).  No waders necessary.

• Leaders/tippet:  9ft 4x and 5x leader 4x, 5x, and 6x monofilament and fluorocarbon leaders

• Polarized sunglasses

• Flies: An assortment of nymphs sizes 14-20, dry flies size 10-20, and streamers size 4-8 will get you through the day.  Guides will have flies as well.

Important: We strongly recommend wearing a billed hat and glasses to protect your eyes.
